What’s crazy is, rea Actual Rating: Deirdre had been wishing her life weren’t so magtie, but getting trapped in the middle of a centuries-old faerie war isn’t exactly what she had in mind. This is one book I highly recommend. I’m passing all my classes with my eyes closed now, but I just can’t get over this craving for krill.

The author’s formula veers from the norm by incorporating music into the lzment. And the romance stirred up way to much hate from Sarah I think its Sarah and just ugh.

Unsure what exactly Luke is, could he be stiefvateer of Them, Dierdre battles with her desire to find the truth and her desire of Luke.

I love the pacing of the novel where just like Deirdre, the reader is trying to figure out what Luke is. Caught in the crossfire with Deirdre is James, her wisecracking but loyal best friend.

Which maybe explains some things, but at the same time it had some slightly problematic content that I wasn’t really a fan of. I liked the concept of those evil faeries, inhumanly beautiful, powerful and always enjoying to toy with human prey.

Maggie Stiefvater lives in the middle of nowhere, Virginia with her charmingly straight-laced husband, two kids, two neurotic dogs, and a Camaro named Loki.
This might be a little more for girls in the year range but it was still good listen.
