At times I was angry at the characters and at other times I just wanted to hug them and say, “Everything is going to be alright. No trivia or quizzes yet. The writing was absolutely spellbinding, even completely innocuous descriptions like describing soup had me enraptured.
It’s also pretty rare that it takes me a month to read a 5-star book. Visit her at suannelaqueurwrites. They date from a time when the English language was burgeoning with new words, assimilating other languages, and the beauty and rightness of these phrases show it. For those who love stories that leave you thinking about them long after you close the book, you’ll want to read this one.
The greatest challenge facing me is that of identification. Laqueur graduated from Alfred University with a double major in dance and theater. On the first few days after his arrival he meets the Lark Family, and immediately they take a liking to him. I know, I know, it is fiction But, I live among muscular mountain men who would laugh in derision at that term. I look forward to playing! A few people have told me that bad choices make good stories, the statement was stated in this story too and certainly evidenced convincingly at certain moments in the third person narrative.
