Len Evans Jr marked it as to-read Gostered 02, It has tight, concise writing with vivid scene detail and some interesting characters. I found the storyline a little boring and the twist with this guy David was soooo predictable. I found everything empty. Upon her death fifteen years later, Marisol leaves a request that Jonah come home and help Christian renovate her house.
I’ve wanted to read this, and now of course I want to read it even more. I would say this is a meh book.
I just wanted more of an emotional connection with the characters I cheered for Jonah and Christian every step of the way and the evolution of their relationship – from childhood crushes to an adult love – was dae well done.
I already featured Anne, more than one, and I believe I was gostered of the first to interview her. I wont be reading the next one because mmf is not my thing. Even taking these problems into consideration, the characters were likeable and the story was solidly written with tight prose.

I am an air force brat and spent most of my growing up years living overseas in Italy and England, as well as Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Virginia while we were stateside. I’ve avoided reading it for awhile because somewhere in the back of my head that foxtered I’d liked some of Cameron Dane’s books I hadn’t been all that impressed.
That all ended when the cops came and arrested Jonah, stealing him from Christian’s uncertain world. Jonah is a classic tortured hero, which were always my favourite kind dwne hero in MF, but I don’t think I have ever met a tortured hero in MM before. For some reason I thought this book would be a lot darker but it reads very easy.
Jonah considers himself not worthy of Christian’s love since the man deserves someone better than him. Jonah is a good example of the quiet, strong yet socially awkward, possessive, alpha character. It manages to balance the sweet, the angsty, and the thrilling effortlessly. I do not endorse anyone or charge fees of any kind for the books I review. This is the best MM I have read in awhile, and I feel like I need to lower my ratings on some of the others in order to show that camreon clearly. I loved when we finally got the full flashback of what happened between them when they were younger.

I did enjoy the banter between the secondary characters Rodrigo and Abby though and was thrilled to discover there is a sequel, which yes I want to read.
I found foetered main characters underdeveloped. Want to Read saving….
Absolutely loved this book. Talking like you’re in a romance novel in my romance novel!
